-my palm can't hotsync!

Was just surfing the net.

Found some stuff on how to make yourself happy.

Do Some Homework
Here's a "forget being perfect exercise" that should help you feel happy. Pull out a pen and paper and do this exercise privately:

Step 1:
Ask yourself these questions; What are the things you'd like to improve your life? Would you want a better job? No job at all? Have a cleaner house? Travel more?

Step 2:
Think of a time when you were at your happiest. What were you doing? Who were you doing it with? Why was it so memorable? Where did you work? Who were your friends? Think about what made that time happy for you and write it down.

Step 3:
Now compare your two lists and one thing that you'll realize very quickly is that the best time of your life was when you were enjoying people around you and doing something that you enjoyed.

Since you already know what it takes to make you happy, instead of worrying about a fantasy to-do list, take some time to make some of the things on the second list come true.

Stop Being Fake And Be Real
The image you have in your head of who you think you ought to be can make you project a fake rather than a real image. In our drive for perfection, we assume that everyone else has a better life than us, and we take on a manner and tone that tries to convince other people that we're perfect.

It's okay to admit that you're human and drop the façade. Being perfect all the time can be very exhausting.

in my new home.

moved in to ntu today officially. Tonite marks the first night here. the faces are not too friendly yet. oh well, these people just got back from some bashes at centro so i guess they won't be too excited to see a new face down the corner room. But we are making the best out of our short stay here i guess. Took some pictures of my room but forgot to install the software to download the pictures into my lappy yet. So patience does it.

Lets hope that my stay in ntu would be a fruitful one. & if anyone is kind enough, can always drive over & deliver some supper. Now I realised how hungry one gets at night when ya not at home with junk food. Yup. Im a true blue junkie.

in addition to my incredibly long post below

My Thai Trip

Its not as backpacking as I had expected. We stayed in decent lodgings with the exception of one night. We tried our best to be as street smart as possible. Took the local bus from bangkok to rayong ( a small town?) Refuse to hop onto any taxis, tuktuks or any overpriced vehicles. Stayed in a budgeted inn for a night tho i think the rate is really not that fantastic. Ate our hearts out at the local hawker fare. From Rayong, we moved on to koh samed. A pretty beach favoured the locals.

We had a hard time getting there. Money grubbing travel agents offered us speed boat to the island for 2000 baht. Then the price dropped to 1000 baht. We refuse to give in to temptations and hopped on to a 50 baht per person ferry ride which transported food as well as us to the island.

Thereafter, we congratulated ourselves for finding a nice room for a reasonable rate. Had a little hic-cups on the way as we actually managed to ride around the island on our own. Well, the hic-cups may result in some scarring for some of us (literally).

Then we experienced a bigger hic-cup. We do not have a night lodging when we are back at bangkok. Ended up staying in the hotel lobby cos we reckon there is no point paying for lodging when we are only staying there for 5 hours. Geez. Worst night of my life man.

Anyways, made our way to Ayutthaya where some of us built a learning center in last december. The kids were great. The smiles are great. Well, Im glad i went back. Smile smile, cry cry, hug hug, laff laff, sing sing, dance dance.

Back @ bangkok, typical shopping blah blah. Din really buy a lot of stuff tho. @ khao san, we decided to get happening with dreadlocks, braids & tattoos. guess who did what la. The fotos are coming out real soon.

Anyway, its way past my bed time & im aint even sleepy.

be going to obs for the next three days. =)

You are a simple bride.
Good for you! You are a simple bride!

i must be too bored

It was nice to catch up over katsu curry with old friends. Swam a little. Its like girls are strange creatures. After losing contact for a couple of months, a sudden phone call and a bitching session got us all back n clammy again.

I was just pondering.
What if a bus makes a wrong turn. Will it U-turn back or what?

Going for outward bound for the next couple of days. Got my mobile mosquito coil carrier already.

Just got bitten on the sole and it really sucks!

Someone suggested to me since bday is coming mabbe i shad just email to all my friends and invite them to come tgr to get me something that I really want. And I thought the norm was just to blow up the word "wishlist" on your blog.

How amusing. =)

thinkin of purchasing either palm zire 71 or a sony clie.. what says you.

Work @ *hub

Working in the frontline sector taught me a thing or two abt the basic survivor skills in the workplace. Most of the colleagues are really nice. Like the trio really like working there despite of short lunch breaks, unreasonable customers and the list goes on la. But well, so far so good. So see ya @ more hubbing roadshows la.

Anyway caught charlie's angels wif the gals and gosh i was ultimately bored in the cinema! Finding nemo is not bad tho.

Think i lost touch with updating my blog. Somemore i seem to be at a lost for words. Another time then. =)

The above pictures were taken @ de end of the *hub roadshow where we kinda went giggling and silly and simply snapped pictures after pictures. Mind you. Everyone was either stoning cos they are tired after work or busy clearing stuff. My friends.
