Life According to Ping ...

Was just surfing the net.

Found some stuff on how to make yourself happy.

Do Some Homework
Here's a "forget being perfect exercise" that should help you feel happy. Pull out a pen and paper and do this exercise privately:

Step 1:
Ask yourself these questions; What are the things you'd like to improve your life? Would you want a better job? No job at all? Have a cleaner house? Travel more?

Step 2:
Think of a time when you were at your happiest. What were you doing? Who were you doing it with? Why was it so memorable? Where did you work? Who were your friends? Think about what made that time happy for you and write it down.

Step 3:
Now compare your two lists and one thing that you'll realize very quickly is that the best time of your life was when you were enjoying people around you and doing something that you enjoyed.

Since you already know what it takes to make you happy, instead of worrying about a fantasy to-do list, take some time to make some of the things on the second list come true.

Stop Being Fake And Be Real
The image you have in your head of who you think you ought to be can make you project a fake rather than a real image. In our drive for perfection, we assume that everyone else has a better life than us, and we take on a manner and tone that tries to convince other people that we're perfect.

It's okay to admit that you're human and drop the façade. Being perfect all the time can be very exhausting.
