I woke up late for class. So packed our bags and off to Ko Chang.
And I officially love small towns. Trat.
Its freaking cheap! My pretty room with hot water plus tv is 200 bhat. And we watched Channel News Asia at our room!
Went over to Ko Chang with real high expectations due to an exchange student pictures. Stayed over at Tantawan Huts. Its concrete with faulty drainage system. Walked over to rich neighbour for lunch, Cookie Restaurant. And I spotted a cute cute float that Hui insisted that its only available for rent. Now we are proud proud owners of bimbotic cute pink and super bright yellow floats. Read owners. And she thought it was dumb at first. Its going to be so useful.
1. On wet sands.
2. House guests.
3. My bed in Chiang Mai.
4. When the trios quarrel.
5. Bed in SMU.
Got real tan while falling asleep on the floats. Headed for this live band place named Oodies. The musicians looked all the same. Scrawny guys with long hair seem to be the In thing here. And we had pool for a while too. Pop over to the rich neighbour for dinner again. Scallop, baked potatoes, Steam seabass blah blah. And while we were shopping around and there was a blackout. And we were lost. Then we ventured to this store with a kerosene lamp. And the poor neighbours with no lamps had to fly over to buy candles. And while shopping during the blackout, it started to pour. So we had to continue shopping. But we got so bored. So we decided to brave the rain and run across the street to get home. Spent the rest of the night on our bed with the live band outside our room.
The next day.
We ate french fries on our float. We took our bimbotic floats out to ride the wave. It really look pretty dumb but it was fun. Got back to Trat and decided to go to Chathaburi (another province) to try out their famous white noodles. And off we go. White noodle restaurant was ultra friendly. But its not that fantastic. Alas.
