Tinnitus, otherwise known as ringing in the ears

any idea what can help?

June 11, 2003

i just don't get it again.

i do not understand how can some nanny bear to hit, slap, and shake a sleeping baby (not crying) who is only 1.5 years old.

i do not understand why some hdb flats lifts are like built 1.5 metres away from each other. how are you suppose to know which lift is here unless you press the lift button then moved like 0.75 metres away and wait.

i do not understand why people actually slam the door in my face. Refuse to believe that im working for the government for a survey job and thinks that my identity pass is a counterfeit.
So what if im not claded in shirt and pants and have ear piercings and have "frosty beige" hair color. So what?

im just doing my damn vacation job.

i quit!

Are SMU students more 'marketable'?

Five out of 10 Singapore Management University (SMU) students have already secured jobs at big companies, such as electronics giant IBM and investment bank Merrill Lynch.

Employers say that there seems to be a difference between SMU's graduates and those from the more established National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. Some bosses note that the SMU students are 'more communicative.'

Do you think SMU students have an advantage over those from other universities when hunting for jobs?

why are they at it again?
damn. i wun be love in ntu already la.

Do you remember the time where our doors were not shut as tightly as it is now? The sound of neighbours watching tv in each other houses? Where every doors were open for anyone who wants to pop by for a quick chat? Well, thats the lifestyle of kampong utama. Rose's home.

Was'nt exactly a getaway i guess. More like a fattening session. LOL. Slept a lot due to the sultry weather. Most of the time we were hiding in the nice air-conditioned room.

Kampong Utama like most nice kampongs around has paddle pop ice cream man going around with the paddle pop song. @ night, we went out for the maybe 5th or 6th meal of the day. Fried prawn dough, sotong balls etc. It's someone's house and makeshift shop at night. Nifty ah. Life is basically like that in batam i guess. Everyone is a business man in his own manner. From the "kokkok" mee uncle in the morning to the computer shop guy. Everyone mind their own little business and leads their own simple life. After supper, went over to rose neighbour's place where we sat and watch edward scissorshand on tv. yup. channel 5! even watch the not so scary haunted house show then decided to make our way back home to sleep. Despite of it being batam, indonesia, the place is really quite influenced by s'pore i guess. They watch channel 5/8, u/i. The clock is tuned to spore time though indonesia is an hour slower.

Had my hair cut for 25000 rupiah. SDG$5! Hair cut, wash & blow. Great deal man. Just that my hair looks kinda toot toot now actually. oh well, we should see what gatsby can do for me la.

toot toot pictures should be up soon.

*ahems* i have black fingers now.

dear effy, sorry if i aint sensitive enuff abt our washing our hair twice a day with shampoo issue ok? (psst, I rinse with conditioner just)

dear rose & family, thanks!

& i really miss home tho i duno why. =D glad to be back!
